Sure, we’re a high-achieving group of people, but it’s not all work and no play at the H & H office.

Part of our success can be attributed to the vibrant, fun workplace culture within the business; a culture that every member of the team contributes towards.

Group CEO and principal of the inner-north office, Peter Hutton, said he believes positive workplace culture is crucial to a business’s success.

“To get the very best from your team, you need to show them respect, show them you value their work, and encourage them to take joy in their work,” Mr Hutton said.

“One of H & H’s values is to give each of our clients a world-class experience, and we feel that our team’s happiness and satisfaction is directly linked to our client experience.

“When the team are happy, engaged, and fulfilled at work, they’re more connected to our brand and they’re more willing to provide our clients (and each other) that 5-star service that H & H is famous for,” Mr Hutton said.

“There are a few ways we support office culture at H & H, and we do our best to make work a fun and engaging experience for the whole team.

“We’re a dog-friendly office, and you’ll often see Eddie the cavoodle and Henrie the cocker spaniel around the office, and Karen and I will be bringing in our new cocker spaniel puppy, Vincent, when he’s old enough,” Mr Hutton said.

“We also have the H & H social bowls club, which is always a lot of fun to let off some steam with the gang, as well as regular team catch-ups and training events.

“I’m committed to creating an environment at H & H where the team can feel like family and enjoy coming to work each day,” Mr Hutton said.

Allie Coutts, lead sales agent at H & H inner north and one of the Inner North office’s social captains, said the culture of H & H was one of the things that attracted her to the agency.

“H & H is a very exciting place to work, and the team is full of colourful people always willing to chat and have a laugh,” Ms Coutts said.

“Peter and Karen Hutton’s energy drew me to the agency originally, and their charisma and passion really help create a vibrant workplace culture.

“It’s said if you enjoy your job you’ll never work a day in your life, and I can safely say that I love what I do here at H & H,” Ms Coutts said.
