Well, the small fry are back at school so it’s time for the big kids.
This week, we’d like to share 5 new things to do at what we like to think is ‘The Hastings St of Brisbane’, you guessed it – James Street, Fortitude Valley.
EAT THIS
Gemelli’s is open for trade! A few of us from H & H checked it out recently and the verdict is ‘we can’t wait to go back’! The margaritas at Bar Tano next door are superb too. The food was divine and the service excellent.
DO THIS
Yoga at the Calile on the rooftop terrace is a fabulous way to start your day. Why not join the small crew that attend and improve your yin and yang?
DRINK THIS
Grab a fresh juice at the recently revamped Quench Juice Bar in the James St Market. Our official fave is the Quench Original – so good! (PS: the gelati there is award winning too!)
BUY THIS
A pot plant from The Green (they specialise in on-trend cactii), while you’re there checkout the best brunch menu in town. The muffin is our go-to.
ONLY A SHORT WAIT FOR THIS
Agnes Bakery is starting up soon on the corner of James St and Harcourt St, opposite local fave Sprout Bakery. The team from Agnes certainly know how to create a Portuguese Tart (amongst other fabulous baked goods)
