We thought you might like to read the background stories from some of the sales we’ve made over the last couple of weeks.
SOLD: 809/71 Doggett St, Newstead
Jarrod’s Nero sale took 4 weeks from launch to unconditional (well under the median days on market for Newstead). It was a building record too – $1,190,000. A repeat client for Jarrod, the sellers had experimented with another agent prior (which resulted in the property not selling). Jarrod organised a pre-market tidy up after the tenants vacated.
The campaign resulted in three written offers and to the delight of the vendors, they’re now able to proceed with their next property venture – a development in Wynnum; while the buyers can’t wait to move into their new apartment and live the Newstead lifestyle!
SOLD: 501/527 Coronation Dve, Toowong
Deb’s sale at Banc (think: travertine, long internal vistas, stunning onsite amenities), achieved a $300,000 increase over its sale price 12 months ago.
The owner chose Deb after interviewing two other top Brisbane agents, both of whom asked for lower commission. Deb impressed with her in-depth knowledge of the building, as well as her full service offering when it came to organisation of all trades to assist in every aspect of the selling journey.
Twenty-four groups inspected the property over the 4 week auction campaign, and there were 6 written offers. This one was negotiated and sold prior to auction.
Having to deal with the flood, a lift that ceased operating during the campaign, and juggling open homes while being out of action for a short time with covid, Deb pulled off an incredible result for her beaming owner, who’s now able to move on to the level of care she may need in the future.
SOLD: 101 Fegen Dve, Moorooka
Lauren’s vendors at Fegen Dve stumbled across her on social media and were captivated by her enthusiasm and energy.
Also loving her transparency and honesty, the owners chose Lauren to represent them in the sale of their home.
A small hurdle Lauren had to overcome was the $50,000 investment the property required to repair the retaining wall.
Over the 5 weeks from launch to unconditional, Lauren presented 5 offers to the owners, and one of the contracts crashed. During the offer process, Lauren was able to hold the price for the sellers, who are now able to move into their much larger home.
