70+ buyers came through the open homes. There were many second inspections and even some third inspections. Ultimately, a crowd of 150 attended the auction of 22 Abbott St, New Farm.
Peter stopped the bidding several times to confer with the 7 registered bidders and the vendors. The house was put on the market at $3.1 million. Bids flew thick and fast.
What an auction!
Pete should not have worn his light-coloured suit that day. The final bid was called at $3.36 million and Peter was completely drenched in sweat. Local business owners Justine and Cordell Khoury were elated.
Justine is looking forward to riding her bike to work (Dicki’s New Farm) and they’re both over the moon about creating their dream house. There’ll be plenty of room for their young family to run around in that massive back yard.
It was such an honour to serve our clients in the sale of 22 Abbott St, New Farm, and achieve the highest price the market would bear. This seriously is the best job in the world!
